Location Ca' Valeri is located just a few steps from St Mark's waterfront and St Mark's square in the Sestiere di Castello, which more than any other district, has retained a Venetian authenticity where the local sounds and traditions still thrive. This enviable location allows its guests to delight in the masterpieces and treasures of St. Mark's Place, only 5 minute's walk away, and yet enjoy the hotel's tranquility. The hotel is only a few minute's walk from a few of the jewels of the City of the Doges: the San Giorgio dei Greci church (the Orthodox Cathedral of St. George), a jewel of orthodox art and culture in Venice; San Giorgio degli Schiavoni with its painting cycle by Carpaccio; San Giovanni in Bragora, a small gothic church, where Antonio Vivaldi was baptized. Another feature of the Ca' Valeri is its proximity to the Arsenale where the famous naval fleet was built and housed by the Serenissima (the Venetian Republic, which lasted from 697 to 1797, was dubbed "The Most Serene Republic", because of its remarkably stable government). The Teatro alle Tese and the Teatro Piccolo Arsenale were created by converting some of the Arsenale's buildings which, in addition to the Corderie (the ropeworks),are among the most important and enthralling venues for artistic and musical events during the Venice Biennale.

From Airport:

From the Venice Marco Polo Airport with its "Alilaguna" shuttle service and by water taxi. The Ponte dei Greci and the San Antonin bridge are near the hotel and are the easiest and most well known locations from which to get to the hotel. From Train Station:

Locanda Ca' Valeri is easy to get to from the Santa Lucia train station and from the Piazzale Roma using public transportation: Vaporetto (waterbus) no. 82 (Arsenale or San Zaccaria stop) or water taxi.

From Road:

For those who arrive by car from any direction: From Mestre follow indications to Venice, and go straight to Piazzale Roma, which the last parkig where you can leave your vehicle. From the Piazzale Rome terminal, it is possible to take a TAXI BOAT or the FERRY BOAT line 1 or line N (at night).
