Rooms Description
A completely restored light-filled apartment with about 90 sq m of accommodation on the first floor. Casa Tiepolo is located in a picturesque area, just beyond the usual tourist route area in which you'll have the opportunity to savour a lesser-known Venice, absorbing the city's unique atmosphere while strolling through the streets and 'campi',or squares. This elegantly furnished apartment comprises an entrance hall, a corridor, a spacious living and dining room with a nice view over the cosy garden and the Saint Mark's Basin, a twin double bedroom, a single bedroom, a kitchen, a breakfast room and a bathroom with tub. In the living room there is a double sofa bed (with wooden staves and a real mattress).
The kitchen has an oven, four gas burners, a microwave oven, a refrigerator, an electric hotplate, a mixer and other appliances.
The apartment is also provided with air conditioning, washing machine, colour TV, iron, radio, CD player and more.
Location
The apartment Casa Tiepolo is located in a quiet quarter of the Sestiere di Castello, very close to the characteristic Via Garibaldi and the Castello Gardens. Casa Tiepolo is only a 10 minute walk from San Marco Square that can be reached along the beautiful Riva degli Schiavoni Promenade, heart of the city and starting point of the Serenissima's historical and cultural itinerary.

From Marco Polo airport, you can take a public boat, provided by ALILAGUNA Company, which leaves to San Marco every hour. The trip takes an hour and costs 9.81 Euros per person. The nearest Waterbus Stop is dock 18 "Giardini, Biennale di Venezia" in front of the S. Giorgio Island (the apartment is only 2 minutes on foot without crossing any bridge). You may also take a private water taxi to the same destination for 77.50 Euros (rate includes two passengers with luggages). We suggest you to confirm the price before leaving.
From Train Station:
To get to Casa Tiepolo from Venezia S. Lucia train station, you can take public boats marked by n°41 or n°51. The price is 3.50Euros per person. The closest stop is n° 18 "Giardini, Biennale di Venezia", in front of the S. Giorgio Island. You may also take a private sea taxi to the same destination for 51.60 Euros (the price includes two passengers with luggages). We suggest you to confirm the price before leaving.
From Road:
To get to Casa Tiepolo from Piazzale Roma (Rome Square) and from the parking place in the Tronchetto zone, take the public boats marked by n° 41 or n° 51. The price is 3.50 Euros per person.
