Descripcion CA' DAMIANI dates back to the end of the 18th century, when it was the Residence of the notary of the DOge of Venice during the period of the "Serenissima Republic". Damiani is in fact a typical Venetian family name and " Ca' " is the short word for "casa" (home). The villa has been completely restored and transformed into an hotel in 1996. The accurate intervention tried to maintain everything unaltered so that we can welcome the guests in a charming and refined past times atmosphere offering at the same time all modern comforts of a 4-star hotel and a friendly hospitality. All Ca' Damiani is a miniature exhibition of old clocks (belonging to the hotel owner, a passionate collector), period furnishings, pictures and curious objects of antiquity of great interest and value. The extremely quiet position makes this place even more pleasant; a big park with secular trees such as cedars of Lebanon, magnolias, palms, cypresses, pines, oaks, limes and vines surrounds the villa assuring peace and nice views from the rooms. We pay particular attention to the morning breakfast that can also be served in the room without extra charge. The breakfast buffet is very rich: large choice of fresh fruit, biscuits, corn flakes, puddings, yogurts, variety of cheese and ham, delicious home made cakes and jam.

Descripcin de las habitaciones
The 12 rooms, cared for in the minutest detail and with magnificent bathrooms (in marble, with Jacuzzi) are not known by numbers, but by the names of famous clockmakers. Each room has its own particular character that reflects the style of its clockmaker.
Localizacin
Situated in Stevenà di Caneva, beautiful village at the foot of the mountain, the hotel has a strategic position at the border between the regions Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia. It is the ideal base to reach easily the most important places of interest, offering at the same time the possibility of alternative sightseeing such as enotourism and wine routes, naturalistic itineraries, golf, antiquity open-air markets and typical events of the local tradition.

FROM "MARCO POLO" AIRPORT IN VENICE: Highway A27 (Venice-Belluno) exit in Conegliano. Take the National Road SS13 direction Pordenone and drive for ca 10 km. At the intersection in Orsago turno left direction Cordignano; after passing Cordignano you arrive in Stevenà di Caneva where the hotel is located.

The nearest train station is SACILE, at 4 km from the hotel. Sacile is located on the railway line Venice-Udine (Venice is reachable by train from Sacile in one hour).
