Rooms Description
Each of the 12 airy Suites is identically designed and furnished by craftsmen - you get a comfortable bedroom, kitchenette and living room, all mod cons and uncluttered, sleek decor. All have teak parquet floors, calm off-white walls, soft beige furnishings and the occasional colour accent - relaxing orange sofas in the standard suites, or light blue throws on the beds.
The furniture is mostly modern Italian designer with some Philippe Starck pieces and the odd family antique. Original double height double-glazed windows are hung with fine cream curtains with blackout and shutters that ensure a perfect night's sleep on the Simmons mattresses. Personal touches include fresh roses grown by the family and, for those who stay longer than three days, complimentary bottles of wine and oil. A few judiciously placed pieces of classic artwork - architectural drawings in the main hall, German romantic paintings in the apartments, and old plant prints - maintain the modern minimalist effect.
Bathrooms are spacious, well-fitted (hairdryers are included) and classy; black marble sink and shower or bath surrounds contrast with white walls.
There are three classes of apartment (Standard, Superior and Deluxe) over four floors All have one main bedroom but the more expensive Superior and Deluxe apartments also have a double sofabed in the living room. The quiet Deluxe on the top floor is preferred for honeymooners. Four of the seven Superior apartments have the best views facing the via dei Servi towards the Duomo; the others face towards the Brunelleschi Rotunda.
Location
Centrally located in a tranquil walking area, just three blocks away from the Dome. For driver's we have an arrangement with a private garage or you can use the public parking just behind the Residence Hilda.

From Airport:
From the airport we suggest you to take the shuttle to the central station and then a taxi. If you wish to use the car, follow the indications to the centre and then to the Santa Maria Nuova Hospital. After the hospital take the first on the right, we are at the end of the street, in front of the Wash & Dry.
From Train Station:
We suggest you to use a taxi, just at the exit of the station. If you wish to come by foot, go towards the Dome, keep the Dome on your right and turn the second on you left. We are at the end of street, in front of the Wash & Dry.
From Road:
From the exit Firenze Sud: turn left at the traffic light after the toll-house, follow the main road until a square with a medieval door in the centre, pass through the square and drive to the following square with a cemetery in the middle, turn around the cemetery and turn right at the traffic light following the indications to the centre. Turn the first on the right, the first on the left, the first on the right again and the first on the left. Go ahead up to the end of the street and turn right, right again and you are in Via dei Servi. N. 40 is at the end of the street, in front of a Wash & Dry.
Dining
No restaurants or Breafast Hall, but all our Suites have a fully equipped ktìitchen where you can toast your bread in the morning and make a wonderful coffee with the moka machine or the kettle. You can of course also cook a complete dinner, to be served with a good red wine in our wine glasses.
We have a grocery shopping delivery service, if you wish to find something to eat at the arrival, just let us know your shopping list at least a day prior to the arrival.
