San Frediano Mansion: a journey to Florentine renaissance.
Our hotel is situated in an important historical Florentine palace, the oldest record is a wonderful frescos with Saint Joseph, Mary and the baby Jesus, dated on the 15th century.
The palace has been enlarged in the 18th century by Marchesi Capponi, a famous noble Florentine family, while in the 19th century was again transformed into neo-renaissance stlye.
The interior preserves important pictorial decorations and frescos, while the exterior keeps the original shape of the 18th century.
The palace has an entrance also at the back garden - Lungarno Sederini.

Rooms Description
Our four rooms are furnished with style. They are large and spacious, having comfortable private bathrooms and satellite television. Our double rooms can be easily transformed to triple rooms by adding an extra bed.
Location
The Diladdarno is something more than a geographic point, it is La Rive Gauche, a way of being that you can still find in the labrotories of the artist and artisens, and in their luxurious antique shops. Monuments, churches, parks, and museums: Palazzo Pitti, Santo Spirito, Il Ponte Vecchio, Il Giardino di Boboli.. and also: resturants, mosaics and work shops.
Goldsmiths of the magnificent past of Florence still live today not only within the historical and through stories, but also in the everyday life of the locals, in her typical resturants where you can still experience the typical atmosphere of the past city and in many of the artisen shops, inheritance of secolar traditon in the way to work in the period

The Bed&Breakfast San Frediano Mansion is 10 minutes walking distance from the station. From the station, go to Piazza Santa Maria Novella and than go towards Via deFossi.. When you arrive at Ponte alla Carraia, go straight through, and you will be in Borgo San Frediano.
By bus:
From the station, take bus D and ride it untill the last stop-Via Borgo San Frediano. You will be exactly in front of the Bed&Breakfast SanFrediano.
By car:
From motorway A1, take exit Firenze Certosa and go to Porta Romana. When you arrive in Piazza Pier Vettori go on to Via Pisana. At the end you will find Borgo San Frediano.
