The 20 rooms are all very large, much larger than the standards of this category,and perfectly suited to different solutions.
Each room is equipped with private bathroom, telephone and TV, and the maggiority of them have balconies facing the park of the hotel with a view of the Gennargentu mountains.
Location
Dorgali is located in one of the most blooming installation of the nuragical civilisation, surrounded by many of the benefits that inland nature could ever give to man. The sun is ever brightning for 300 days a year!
Mountains narrate to the most careful visitors about past ages and places like Tiscali, wittness of one of the first italic civilization.
The sea in the south, nearby Cala Gonone, with its 22 km of wild coast and beaches has been known for the past 50 years only by few fisherman. many animal and vegetal species difficult to find in the rest of the Mediterranean sea live here
"Le falesie" in the coast and "Il Supramonte" with its canyons and the Cedrino river keep the secrets of an old culture hidden for centuries to the invaders.
The natural bounds of this land, once a shelter then a limit which now represent a resource, are the reason why the economical and social evolution have developed in a hermetic way comparing with the nearby villages.
It's also for all these reasons that the local handicraft developed in a heterogeneous way and nowadays there are members of arts and craftmanships covering almost every range.
The old village had to be so much independent, unlike the nearby centres in Dorgali, because there were at the same time goldsmiths, farriers, cutlers, skilfull of ceramics and carpets, joiners and leather good dealers.
The common thing to all activities is the extreme care for details easy to see in "filigrana"manufacturing, in the "Carasau" bread and in the traditional Dorgali costumes with its colours which give you the warmest welcome.

Dining
The restaurant, the first opened in Dorgali in 1974 proposes a typical cookery although, not disdaining innovative dishes and a good variety of vegetarian and hypocaloric cuisine.
The menu changes with seasonal products,like......(funghi porcini) or wild asparagus picked in the surrounding countryside. From the classic Ravioli Dorgalesi, to the Gullurzones ogliastrini, and the Maccarone de Punzu the common element era the quality of ingredients, and the preparation of dishes that do not accept compromises of the restaurant cuisine.
A big success since 25 years, is the called "Bouches" Exclusive house speciality are Bouches, food made with ricotta cheese, vegetables and milk.
The cellar offers a wide selections of labels, one of these is the typical Cannonau, red and inebriating or white and lively, that join very well the traditional cuisine
