Planning a Florence vacation |

I would definitely book with Hotel Aline again. The room with a shower was basic but all that we required. The bathrooms along the hallway were good and we never had to wait to use them. Our room was at the back of the hotel with a balcony,was quiet,with a pleasant view across the rooftops to the hills beyond. The hotel offered us free internet access in the sister hotel - Hotel Liberty across the street. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Having been given our arrival time, Sandra greeted us on the sidewalk straight from our taxi. The location is very convenient, just round the corner from The Accademia and only a short walk to all other locations in the old city and the railway station. If you are visiting Florence for its art, do book tickets ahead for the Uffizi,Accademia and Pitti Palace on the internet using Florenceart.it/booking. Unless you get tickets ahead they will be sold out in the high season and you will avoid standing in long lines. We also booked a cycle tour with Artviva, advertised in the hotel, and it was great if you are fit enough to cycle up hills! |
